About

Charles E. Walters, C.N.H.P., C.M.T

Mr. Walters is not a medical doctor. He is a holistic health educator, lecturer, and co-founder of Phoenix Institute, etc. He began his holistic studies over a decade ago when he experienced rapid degenerative health. Shortly thereafter—recovering from his most systemic ailments—Mr. Walters was appointed Director of Health Ministries at his beloved church, the First AME Zion Church of Paterson, New Jersey. The systemic disorders that he was afflicted by are as follows: prostate dysfunction, obesity, high blood pressure, chronic colds, and failing eyesight.

By divine order, Mr. Walters was introduced to the holistic concept and, being obedient, he followed the spiritual order. In preparation for his newly-founded journey in the herbal and holistic health field, he has studied at several colleges, including Trinity and Essex County College where he received certification as a massage therapist.

Mr. Walters’ main courses of interest were nutrition, health, and anatomy & physiology. Mr. Walters has served as affiliate and advisory board member for the following health care organizations: Hyacinth AIDS Foundation, American Cancer Society (prostate health), Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center (cancer education and early detection), and Rainbow of Hope (CEED Program). In addition, he has served the Congress of National Black Churches (CNBC), addressing health care issues.

Mr. Walters is also a member of the Blue Horizon Professional Healers Network and is an active member of the Certified Natural Health Professional Organization.
